A male Azure damselfly (Coenagrion puella) covered in early morning dew. It is perched on its overnight roost patiently waiting for the warmth of the sun and cannot really move and go about its daily business until it has warmed up and dried off.

I am a full-time Natural History and Wildlife photographer from Cheshire, in the North West UK. As well as taking photographs I teach photography at all levels and also specialise in digital workflow tuition and colour management. My passion is really for landscapes and seascapes together with macro photography and my beloved Norwegian Sea Eagles.
