Traditional wooden groynes reach out into the sea off Llanddulas beach in North Wales. The overcast, windless day is drawing to a close, and the becalmed water and mist filled sky become 'as one' making it impossible to tell where water ends and sky begins.
As the sea receeds on a retreating tide some of the beach boulders are just visbible above the water line and they are covered with Winkles trying to seal themselves against the rock surface and patiently await the safety of the returning tide.
I am a full-time Natural History and Wildlife photographer from Cheshire, in the North West UK. As well as taking photographs I teach photography at all levels and also specialise in digital workflow tuition and colour management. My passion is really for landscapes and seascapes together with macro photography and my beloved Norwegian Sea Eagles.
