A cold winter morning, looking upstream on the Afon Idwal, or Idwal river, towards Cwm Idwal and a snow covered Clogwyn y Geifr or Cliff of Goats and The Devil' Kitchen in the heart of Snowdonia in North Wales.
A lone, wind-ravaged tree clings to it's foothold in a rock crevice on the right hand bank of the river while whispy white clouds brush the mountain tops.
