Dark and menacing clouds gather over Birchenough Hill, slamming together and closing out the last of the suns rays as they do so.
The last crepuscular rays of sunlight illuminate the heather clad moorland home of grouse and short eared owl, both of which are doubtless busy burying themselves deep in the heather to escape the coming onslaught of wind and sleet born on the encroaching weather system.

I am a full-time Natural History and Wildlife photographer from Cheshire, in the North West UK. As well as taking photographs I teach photography at all levels and also specialise in digital workflow tuition and colour management. My passion is really for landscapes and seascapes together with macro photography and my beloved Norwegian Sea Eagles.
